The International Sculpture Symposium Alliance (ISSA) member, the Aswan International Sculpture Symposium in Egypt, concluded successfully. This is ISSA's first stop in 2017 and is the first time that ISSA's flag has risen in Africa. At the closing ceremony, ISSA Secretary General Liu Yang presented the prize to the Egyptian Minister of Culture.

ISSA Secretary General Liu Yang Gives Flag to Aswan International Sculpture Symposium

The one-month-long Egyptian Aswan International Sculpture Creation Symposium held a closing ceremony recently. The ISSA flag was first raised in Africa. As the finale of the closing ceremony, ISSA Secretary-General Liu Yang is Minister of Culture Helmy El-Namnam, Governor of Aswan, Magdy Hegazy of Aswan, Professor Ahmed Awward, Head of Cultural Development Fund, and Adam Heneen, Founder of Aswan International Sculpture Creation Symposium. The president of Aswan International Sculpture Creation Symposium and ISSA member Nagy Farid presented the prize for their support for international sculpture activities. At the same time, Minister Helmy El-Namnam also accepted the ISSA membership certificate issued by Liu Yang on behalf of Aswan International Sculpture Creation Symposium.
